The Palatine Special School - WinnerSecondary School, Worthing, West Sussex.
A special school for 5-16 year olds, with a great deal of successful gardening experience, is developing a Thinking Garden based on motifs representing the journey of life. Once made it will serve not only the school community but also be available to nearby hospices, day centres and community groups. The garden is seen as especially important for approaching the curriculum with children who may have difficulties with traditional learning. |
