A New Awards Scheme Launched Thursday 8th October 2009

Many have asked whether REEP is continuing its Schools Garden Awards.  When the Awards were first started, there was less interest in school gardens and very few awards.  Now, happily, school gardens have really become popular, so REEP has decided to move on and take an innovative step into another area.

The Awards for 2009-10 will therefore be for Poetry Pamphlets, on the subject of ‘Rivers’.  Poetry Pamphlets, with their concise and attractive form, are a great way to explore ideas and expand creativity and there will be £6,000 in prizes to encourage entrants.  REEP hopes that teachers and students will enjoy the new challenge and the materials that we shall be providing on the website.
