Pilgrimage Pages
Welcome to the exciting new Pilgrimage Pages on the REEP website.
Updates...
An interview with Ray Simpson from Lindisfarne (Holy Island, not the group!).
A new section on Christian pilgrimage packed with information.
About This Section
The launch of this new area of the REEP site coincides with this year's Easter Calendar, which explores issues of spiritual identity through a modern pilgrimage to Compostella.
The Pilgrimage Pages will gradually fill out over the course of this year and will focus on -
- Providing information on pilgrimage as it is understood and practised in all of the major world religions, as well as some stories of pilgrims old and new
- Providing material and ideas that will help teachers explore with their students the interrelationship of religious ideas of environmental issues through the concept and practise of pilgrimage
A Modern Pilgrim

We begin our exploration of pilgrimage, however, with an interview with a modern pilgrim - Mark Hoare.
Mark Hoare was the Sir Laurens van der Post scholar at The Prince of Wales's Institute of Architecture between 1995-1996. Since then he has been living and working in Norfolk, while studying Architecture part-time in London. He is also a REEP Trustee!
