Gospel
music is a fusion of Western and African musical and Christian traditions.
The growth of Gospel music in Britain, particularly in London and
the West Midlands, is a sign of the creative changes taking place
with British Christianity.
Many people know of ensembles such as the London Community Gospel
Choir, but there are many other groups and solo singers. Freddie
Kofi from Nottingham, the child of Ghanaian parents, is a good example
of a modern British Gospel artist. You can hear all his excellent
album Journey: Destination Paradise at his website

You don't need any plug-ins to make the site work, so just sit back
and enjoy the distinctive voice of the African-British Christian!
