Labyrinths and Mazes – Game Four: A Colour Maze
This week you have to answer questions about words while helping Teketel reach the centre of the maze.
How To Play
Teketel has to find his way to the centre of the maze by following a colour sequence. Choose the order of the 3 colours - yellow, red and blue - to define the sequence, then move to points along paths of the appropriate colour. You will be able to see on the screen which moves are possible at any time.
The colour maze is not simple, but is definitely possible: 2 of the possible colour sequences allow a solution in only 21 moves, so don't give up! Hint: Study the colour maze before choosing a colour sequence. Try working back from the centre to see the order of colours necessary to arrive there.
Each time the colour sequence repeats, Teketel has to answer a question: If you answer correctly, Teketel can continue. If you answer incorrectly, you can choose to try another question or continue. You can choose between easy and hard questions. You can see how many questions you have answered at the right of the screen. If you have used up all your questions before reaching the centre of the maze, you will have to start again!
If you are struggling with this particularly tricky maze, you can view 2 solutions.
See the introduction for more about the labyrinths that might help you with the questions.
The games require the Flash plug-in, available as a free download from macromedia.
